The neighborhood is extremely quiet and peaceful and the parking places are free and easy to find.
It is very silent and quiet here, also on the crowded summer nights, and although the center of Opatija is not close within walking distance and there are many steps to the apartments, in return you will enjoy the most wonderful view over the entire Karner bay, by day and especially by night.
This neighborhood on the hills over Opatija, called "Vrutki" is famous for its entrance to the "Carmen Sylva Promenade". Take a walk along the historic forest promenade enjoyed by Romanian King Carol and Queen Elizabeth, known by the stage name Carmen Sylva. It is really refreshing during the hot summer months.


It is necessary to use the car to go for groceries or reach other city facilities, the beaches, restaurants and shops.
